In this age of rising obesity almost everybody wants to loose weight. Indeed almost everybody seems to be on a diet to loose weight.

The sad thing is that almost everybody knows the basics of weight loss which are to eat less and exercise. We all know that we should be exercising more and eating better yet almost none of us do it.

Instead of getting down to basics most of us spend our time looking for a miracle weight loss solution. The magic pill or belt or exercise program that will help us loose the weight without any hard work or sacrifice.

Although there are many excellent products such as Acai Berry that can help you loose weight the truth is that there is no weight loss miracle. If you are going to loose weight you will have to exercise and improve your diet.

This means that you will have find an exercise program that will work for you. The most successful exercise program will be one that you can stick to. A good way to do this is to find some exercise activity that you will enjoy doing. If your exercise program is not enjoyable you will not exercise and you will not loose weight.

You should concentrate on exercises that you enjoy. If you don’t like to run or lift weights don’t make that the center of your exercise program.

The same rules should apply to your diet, you should find a diet that includes food you like and will actually eat. Going to all the trouble of going on a special diet you know will go off of because you won’t like the food you’ll be given is a waste of time and effort.

The best weight loss effort will be a gradual one that combines improvements with your diet with an exercise program. Slowly and gradually ease into your program and don’t put pressure on yourself to loose weight quickly.

Set realistic goals such as loosing a pound or two a month instead of trying to loose a lot of weight at once. Pounds that you take off slowly will stay off while pounds you loose quickly will come back just as fast.

Finally, never use any weight loss product or embark on any weight loss or exercise program until you have consulted with your doctor. Trying to loose weight without a doctor’s advice can be unhealthy and dangerous.
